This Privacy Policy explains how My Rights (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us", "the company"), the publisher of the GUILTY mobile application ("the app", "GUILTY"), handles information. GUILTY is a South African legal-knowledge trivia game. We have designed the app to respect your privacy: it does not collect, transmit, or share personal information.
GUILTY does not collect personal information. We do not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, or any account registration to play.
The app stores your game progress — such as your experience points, rank, trophies, collected cards, statistics, and settings — locally on your own device only. This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this progress is permanently removed.
GUILTY offers an optional premium subscription. All payments are processed securely by Google Play through your existing Google account. We do not receive, see, or store your payment details (such as card numbers). Google's handling of your payment information is governed by Google's own privacy policy and terms. To manage or cancel a subscription, use your Google Play account settings.
The app loads typefaces from Google Fonts to display its visual style. When fonts are loaded, Google may receive standard technical request information (such as your IP address) as part of serving those files. This is used only to deliver the fonts and is governed by Google's privacy policy. The app contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no social-media trackers.
GUILTY is intended for legal professionals, law students, and adults with an interest in South African law. It is not directed at children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
Because your game data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us, there is no central database of user information that could be exposed. The security of data on your device is governed by your device's own protections.
As we hold no personal data about you, there is no personal information for us to access, correct, or delete. You remain in full control of your locally stored game progress, which you can remove at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
